1A Motion Pictures is an independent narrative feature film production company that is vertically integrated across all phases of film production. Our aim is to fill the ever growing void of bold and imaginative films that push boundaries and challenge the status quo while remaining commercially viable.  Our projects span all genres with the common denominator of being rooted in unwavering authenticity.

Simply stated: Good art and good business are not mutually exclusive and our aim is to consistently demonstrate that. 

Previous films most recently include Dyad an action thriller starring the legendary filmmaker and actor Nick Cassavetes who also served as executive producer.  Rule of Thirds a drama/thriller starring Will Hirschfeld and Ashley Moore who recently appeared as a series regular on Amazon Prime’s I Know What You Did Last Summer.  Loverboy, a proof of concept short film which garnered runner up honors for both the Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize at the Zero Film Festival held at SoHo House in West Hollywood, CA. 

On the executive producing side, we assisted in securing financing for the action thriller Clean Up Crew produced by Yale Productions starring Academy Award nominee Antonio Banderas and Academy Award Winner Melissa Leo, additionally we assisted in the same capacity for Yale’s first film with Banderas, The Last Girl.
